The Prosciutto San Daniele is a ham DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) is produced exclusively in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in province of Udine. Recognizable by the characteristic shape of a guitar, the presence of a zampino leg stamp and the mark of the Consortium, the San Daniele is just made with meat from pigs born and raised in Italy and sea salt. It is a natural food with no additives or preservatives. The high nutritional value and easy digestibility make it suitable for any type of diet.
PAIRINGS: Great tasted as an appetizer, accompanied by slices of melon, kiwi or pineapple. Many chefs use it in their dishes to add a touch of class and quality
WINES: It goes preferably with a dry white wine, not too spicy
TASTE: Intense, sweet and delicate taste with a stronger aftertaste
